Samsung top-load suspension rods come in three different lengths. This Karoxy set fits the 26.4 in group only (cross-references DC97-16350U / T / C / D / E / S and DC97-05280W / H). Note: the root number alone is not enough — DC97-16350V and DC97-16350Y are 27.6 in rods and are a different product.
Does NOT fit longer-rod washers: WA54R7200, WA54R7600, WA48H7400, WA48J7770 (these use a 27.6 in rod, DC97-16350V) and WA50M7450, WA52J8700, WA52M7750, WA52M8650, WA54M8750, WA50K8600 (these use a 28.3 in rod, DC97-18610F / A). WA50F9A6DSW and WA50F9A7DSW (FlexWash) use a different suspension system entirely. WA52J8060 uses a longer rod we have not verified — please contact us before ordering. Pretty well matched to the OEM, hoping they will last longer than the OEM rods did. These aren't too hard to swap out. At 30 bucks it's an affordable way to bring back an old machine.

These suspension rods work great. They fit my Samsung WA50R5200AW perfectly, and completely solve the very annoying "unbalance load" problem. And, these new ones look like they are better quality than the originals. The plastic parts are beefier, and they have a rubber ring around the springs. Also, I like that the rod goes all the way through the top fastener and is held in place by the 90-degree bend rather than the crimped connection on the originals. Surprisingly, they aren't all that tough to install, either. I was able to get mine installed without having to pull the washing machine all the way out. Only about 8 of clearance in the back is needed, and there are only about 7 screws to lift off the top to gain access to the rods. The rods can then be replaced one at a time by lifting the tub - they just slot into indentions on the top and bottom. In use, these new suspension rods make the washing machine work like new. The washer completes the cycle every time, without getting wobbly or creating a huge "bang" when it becomes unbalanced. If I knew that it was this easy and inexpensive, I would have done this long ago.
